About this blog

This blog presents the "Ten Thousand Page Colouring Book". It is a collection of abstract line drawings made for colouring, a work in progress, and an expression of the Buddhist concept of Emptiness.

2,400 drawings have been made. Pages are filled in reverse order, started with Page 9999.

Drawing

I see drawing as

sculpting of pictorial space with simple lines

and formation of visual objects from simple parts.

Inspired by logographic writing system,

I approach drawing as a form of writing.

They are Free Cultural Works - meaning they can be freely studied, applied, copied and/or modified, by anyone, for any purpose.
